कप्तान कोहली से विराट उम्मीदे!

५ जीत, ३ ड्रॉ, २ हार - ये है बतैर टेस्ट कप्तान विराट कोहली का डेढ़ साल का लेखा जोखा| मैदान में अग्रसक्रिय सोच, युवाओ को प्रोत्साहन और फ़ैसलो में जोखिम लेना और उसकी ज़िम्मेदारी लेना, ये कुछ खुभियाँ जो इस संक्षिप्त अवधि में फॅन्स और समिक्शो को भा रही है| कोहली ने एक पेचेदि भरे मोड़ पर कमान संभाली थी, जब टीम ऑस्ट्रेलिया में संघर्ष करते वक्त धोनी ने अचानक सन्यास की घोषणा की| लेकिन अपने स्वाभाव के अनुरूप कोहली ने उस जटिल परिस्थिति को एक अवसर में तब्दील किया| भारत ने उस दौरे की आखरी टेस्ट मॅच ड्रॉ किया और २०१५ में खेले गयी २ बड़ी शृंखलाओ में कोहली के नेतृत्व में भारत ने जीत दर्ज की - श्रीलंका में २२ साल बाद जीत और दक्षिण आफ्रिका को ३-० से पछाड़ा| १० टेस्ट मॅच भले ही एक अल्प समय हो किसी के कप्तानी का आकलन करने के लिए, मगर इतने कम कार्यकाल में कोहली ने अपनी छाप छोड़ी है|

अक्सर कड़ी मेहनत के बाद एक तुलनात्मक रूप से आसान काम सामने आता है जो मेहनत का फल प्राप्त करने का अवसर प्रदान करता है| हालाकी तल्ख़ नज़रिए से, मगर अनिल कुंबले के कोच बनने के बाद दिए प्रतिक्रिया में रवि शास्त्री ने कहा था की पिछले १८ महीनो में भारतीय टीम ने काफ़ी तरक्की की है और अब समय आ गया है उसका फल मिलने का| इस हफ्ते से वेस्ट इन्डीज़ के खिलाफ ४ मॅच की शृंखला का आगाज़ हुआ है| आयसीसी टेस्ट रॅंकिंग में भारत दूसरे पायदान और वेस्ट इन्डीज़ आठवे पायदान पर है| पिछले 2 दौरों (2006 और 2011) में भारत ने जीत दर्ज की थी| इतिहास और फॉर्म देखे तो भारत को ये दौरा कठिन होने की संभावना कम ही है| पहले पारी के खेल अपेक्षा के अनुरूप भारत के पक्ष में जाते हुए दिखा|

जुलाई-अगस्त में ये दौरा ख़तम होते ही सितंबर से भारत का एक लंबा घरेलू सीजन शुरू होगा जिसमे 13 टेस्ट मॅच शामिल है| पिछले 16 सालों में 26 घरेलू शृंखलाओ में से भारत सिर्फ़ 3 हारा है, जो ये संकेत देता है की सशक्त प्रतिद्वंदी होने के बावजूद भारत का जीत प्रतिषद बेहतरीन होना चाहिए| बल्लेबाजी क्रम स्थिर है, स्पिनरो को वेस्ट इन्डीज़ की धीमी पिच और भारतीय पिच पर ग्रिप रास आएगी|  कई पैमानो पर ये समय भारत के लिए लाभदायक हो सकता है - नये कोच-कप्तान के बीच तालमेल हो या काफ़ी टी२० क्रिकेट के बाद टेस्ट क्रिकेट के माहोल को अपनाकर विदेशी ज़मीन पर बरम्बर जीतने का लक्ष हासिल करने के लिए बड़े कदम|

इतिहास गवाह है की टीम का सबसे सफल बल्लेबाज़ हमेशा ही सबसे सफल कप्तान नही होता है| काफ़ी मौको पर इसका प्रमुख कारण दबाव होता है जो प्लेयर के खेल पर असर डालता है| कोहली बतौर बल्लेबाज़ पिछले २-३ सालों में एक अलग मुकाम पर पोहोच गये है, बतोर कप्तान आगाज़ भी सराहनिए है| आकड़ो पर नज़र डाले तो कोहली के ११ शतको में से ४ शतक कप्तान बनने के बाद आए है, और कैरियर औसत भी ४४.०२ से बढ़ कर कप्तानी कार्यकाल में ५२.७० हो जाता है|

हालाकी प्राथमिक संकेत कोहली को ऐसे श्रेणी में डालते है जो प्लेयर दबाव में ज़्यादा बेहतर खेलते है, भारत की कप्तानी का बोझ कठिन बन सकता है और कोहली के फॉर्म के साथ खिलवाड़ ख़तरे भरा हो सकता है| संगठन सतेह पर भले ही सब ठीकठाक नज़र आ रहा हो, मगर ओपनर्स का फॉर्म, ६ नंबर पर बल्लेबाज़ी, विकेटकीपर का बल्लेबाज़ी में योगदान, तेज गेंदबाजो की धार में कमी, स्लिप फीलडरर्स से कॅच छूटना, ये कुछ पहलू है जिनपर खास तौर पे नज़र रहेगी| इस नज़रिए से ये आनेवाला सीजन कप्तान कोहली के लिए और चुनौती भरा होनेवाला है| टी२० के एक लंबे सीजन के बाद एक टेस्ट मॅच का लंबा सीजन की शुरु होने वाला है, अपेक्षा है की भारत सभी सीरीस जीते और उम्मीद है की एप्रिल २०१७ आने तक एक ऐसा ढ़ाचा तयार हो जाए जिससे भारत विदेशी ज़मीन पर जीतने के लिए आत्मविश्वास दिखा सके|
